The Workplace Charging Scheme

The OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a government-backed voucher scheme that reduces the upfront cost of purchasing and installing EV chargepoints for UK businesses, charities, and public authorities.

The grant covers 75% of the total purchase and installation cost, capped at £350 per socket, and you can claim for up to 40 sockets per applicant. For a business installing ten charge points, that is up to £3,500 off the total bill.

The grant is deducted at the point of installation - your OZEV-authorised installer applies for the voucher and passes the saving directly to you. There is no separate claims process to manage.
