Who we are

Power EV (power-ev.co.uk) is a lead generation service that connects homeowners and businesses with OZEV-registered EV charger installers. We are operated by Limely Ltd, Cheshire, UK. Contact us at hello@power-ev.co.uk.

What data we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your postcode
  • Your EV make and model (optional)
  • Your answers to the installation questions (parking type, cable run, fuse box, charger type, tenure)

How we use your data

Your data is shared with MyJobQuote (our quotes partner) and up to 3 OZEV-registered local installers who will contact you with quotes. This is the sole purpose for which your data is collected and you give explicit consent to this when submitting the form.

We do not sell your data to third parties beyond the installers matched to your job. We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you separately opt in.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given via the checkbox on the quote form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at hello@power-ev.co.uk.

Third parties

Your data is passed to MyJobQuote under their own privacy policy, available at myjobquote.co.uk/privacy-policy. Installers who receive your details are independent businesses and are responsible for their own data handling.

Retention

We retain your submitted data for up to 12 months after submission, after which it is deleted. MyJobQuote and matched installers have their own retention policies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

This site does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in future and will update this policy accordingly.
